First electric Hummers will be heading to new owners this holiday season. According to Autoblog, GMC boss Duncan Aldred has announced that offers for the Hummer Edition 1 – a range of electric vehicles that have reimbursed consumers for more than $ 112,000 – will begin in December. The conference also revealed that Edition 1 has an EPA of 329 miles, slightly lower than the 350 miles the automaker originally expected.
The GMC four-ton electric car has a power output of 1,000 and 11,500 ft / lb of torque generated by its three motors, giving power from zero to 60 miles per hour within three seconds. The car is also capable of pulling 7,500 pounds and can carry 1,300 pounds. It was built on Ultium battery pack, the GM platform was designed to have more power on its models in the coming years.
When it starts shipping next month, Edition 1 Hummer EV will be the first electric car on the market along with Rivian R1T Price. Autoblog states that more than 80 percent of Hummer EV’s storage is Edition 1, but other types of electric vehicles are still coming in 2023. Some of those EVs will cost less and will have longer trips. GMC will resume sending Type of SUV of Hummer EV in 2023.
