Job Description: Community Paramedic/Nurse
 
Our organization is seeking a self-motivated and compassionate Community Paramedic/Nurse to work in a diversified setting. This position will work in an Occupational Health Setting, a Homeless Shelter Clinic, and within a Crisis Stabilization Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care and support to all patients.
 
Responsibilities:
– Work closely with patients to assess their medical needs and develop comprehensive care plans
– Provide medical care and treatment for patients in the Occupational Health Setting, Homeless Shelter Clinic, and Crisis Stabilization Unit
– Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
– Educate patients on their medical conditions and provide them with information on how to manage their health
– Continuously evaluate and improve upon patient care processes and procedures
– Assist in the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives
 
Requirements:
– A degree in Nursing or Paramedicine
– Active registration with the appropriate regulatory body
– Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
– Experience working with diverse patient populations
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
