We are looking for a Senior Manager – Media Buyer to optimize strategy across Google, Paid Social, connected TV and other channels. This role will be responsible to make sure that brand KPIs and budget are being met on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and evaluating creative assets, audience targeting, and supporting the development of high-converting landing pages. You are analytical and technically skilled, with an ability to understand where to spend vs no spend marketing dollars.
What you get to do every day
- Build, manage, and optimize performance-focused media buying campaigns on Google and Microsoft Ads.
- Manage budgets ranging between $5,000-$20,000 per day across multiple accounts.
- Analyze and optimize toward client KPIs based on ad platform metrics as well as data from other platforms or tools to hit revenue goals.
- Generate weekly and other periodic reports highlighting key metrics and providing insights into optimizations and next steps.
- Develop an optimization process for Google buying that’s straightforward, successful, and repeatable.
- Lead meetings while sharing performance metrics, test results, learnings, and next steps.
- Work with the creative team to set up A/B testing of ad creative and periodic refresh.
- Ensure client pixel tracking is accurate and functioning properly.
What you bring to the role:
- Experience leading Google teams managing advertising budgets exceeding $100,000 monthly.
- 5+ years of paid Google Ads/Paid Media/ connected TV advertising experience.
- Deep knowledge of the Google Ads platform, policy, and best practices including bidding strategies, audience targeting, and scaling techniques.
- Track record of efficient conversion-based campaigns with direct response marketing.
- Must have an advanced understanding of split testing, reporting, and optimization for performance-based ROIs.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working with Google Ads/Paid Media/connected TV support teams to mitigate and resolve issues.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics GA4, Google Ads pixel tracking, and conversion attribution.
- Fast learner who can work on a team and independently.
- Test and optimize through the customer journey from impression to purchase (ad creative, ad placement, landing page experience, A/B and multivariate testing).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, product, and analytics, to ensure successful campaign execution.
