Liverpool will a strong review of Andy Robertson and Jordan Henderson their UEFA Champions League match before the match against Porto on Wednesday night at 8pm.
The two players were injured in a recent international window and both missed the match against Arsenal over the weekend.
Henderson appeared in place of the second half of the 4-0 win over Arsenal, when Robertson did not feature in the match.
Presenting the duo’s changes at his press conference earlier on Tuesday, Jürgen Klopp said: “We always respect competition but we have to consider ourselves, our schedule and the status of our players.
“Hendo, we’ll see. [Monday], I would say that it was probably not 100 percent. As a result they can play, they can do everything very well but it is 100 percent complete.
“The reason I decided that when he met Arsenal was just to watch the game and improve a bit – that’s what he had to do in charge of rehab, so he spent just a few minutes. But now we have to see. I don’t know 100 percent.
“Robbo, the same. Both are fine, but both are now ready to play, ready to start with the schedule, the game is coming? We need to make these decisions.
“We did not make these decisions, to be honest, because, as we all know, at this time the medical department is playing a big part in the planning. Then we will see.”
Liverpool have already won their Champions League title after winning their first four games of the tournament for the first time in their history.
Porto have been second in the group, seven points from Liverpool and one ahead of Atletico Madrid – a victory for Porto and AC Milan will send a Portuguese club in the last 16.
